This section reflects the culmination of my learning experiences using a news broadcast format containing different segments to share my overall reflection on the MA in Disability Studies program. By taking the various courses that I did, I was able to critically examine disability issues through the lenses of different disciplines, including the social sciences and humanities, as well as from the points of view of my personal perspective and of social policy. This news broadcast also reveals my plans to use the knowledge I gained in the program to shape people's understanding of disability, in a portion including a memorandum to the prime minister of Jamaica that addresses the exclusion of individuals with disabilities from the mainstream of society. In addition, the broadcast contains a speech titled "I Have a Dream," which shows my passion in starting the fight for disability justice in Jamaica. Please enjoy the MA in Disability Studies news broadcast, and I hope you will be informed. The content of the broadcast is factual except for its sponsorship and title.
