WELCOME TO SOC 301
INTRODUCTION TO RESEARCH METHODS
This is a course for the incurably curious -- a course for students who want to learn how we know what we know. What does evidence look like? How do we collect and organize reliable information and data? How do we communicate what we know? We cannot answer questions about what is worth knowing. That's up to the researcher -- in this case, you. Our goal here is to learn concepts and skills that will help in the creation and communication of credible data and analysis.
